Price: $29.95 (Hardcover)

Abduction surrounds the characters in Jacquelyn Mitchard’s No Time to Wave Goodbye, a novel that revisits the family she introduced in 1996’s The Deep End of the Ocean. Beth Cappadora never quite recovered after her son Ben was abducted at three-years-old, just to return at 12. Now in his mid-20s, Ben has a daughter of his own and sets out with sister Kerry to help their brother Vincent make a documentary about child abduction. The film takes off, but the family’s celebration is cut short when Ben’s daughter disappears and past horrors resurface.
