Watch the Western Hockey League squad face-off against the Spokane Chiefs during a special jersey night.

In support of the Movember campaign, proceeds from the jersey auction will be donated to Prostate Cancer Canada. Tickets range from $15 to $29 at Ticketmaster.

The Cat Empire

This six-member Australian band returns to the Starlite Room to share their unique brand of ska-inflected pop.

Edmonton March for Peace and Nonviolence

Kevin Smith: Silent Bob Speaks Out

The acclaimed author-director behind Clerks, Dogma and Jay and Bob Strike Back, makes an appearance at the University of Alberta this weekend. Unlike his character, Silent Bob, Smith will enrapture the audience with his irreverent humour. Smith has already embarked on a number of similar, highly successful speaking engagements, one of which was turned into a film. Tickets are $59.50 at Ticketmaster.
