Drouin, MacKinnon to dress tonight versus Titan

Halifax Mooseheads fans will get their first glimpse of Jonathan Drouin tonight at the Metro Centre.

The 16-year-old rookie will make his QMJHL debut for the Mooseheads against the Bathurst Titan at the Metro Centre at 7 p.m. after spending the first half of the season playing midget AAA in Lac St-Louis, Que.

Fellow 16-year-old Nathan MacKinnon, the Mooseheads' leading scorer, will return to the lineup from a shoulder injury after a two-game absence.

Tentative line combinations have Drouin with Matthew Boudreau and Alexandre Grenier and MacKinnon with Cameron Critchlow and Martin Frk.

I agree with ratcat0072, if you don't give Zach a few games off, he will burn out and loose his confidence..that's a lot of pressure on a 16 year old..

Re: Mooseheads survive scare to edge Titan

Maybe its time to sit Fucale down once in a while prior to the playoffs. He had two tough games last Thurs & Fri. Perhaps Daigle should have been given the start today!
