The following bright spots and lines from the Halifax Mooseheads' 5-2 win over the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles on Monday night at the Forum. BRIGHT SPOTS
* Gerrad Grant: Great puck protection skills, good shot, excellent work ethic.
* Scott McDonald: Mobile, smart puck-mover.
* Andrew White: Buzzing all night with his speed. Wore the C and is a logical choice to wear it permanently, if he is chosen as a 20-year-old, which should be a no-brainer.
* Jessyko Bernard: A great prospect with size, strength, smarts and soft hands.
* Matt Snow: Speed, shot.
* Chad Earle: Hustled hard and played like he knew a job was on the line --- and one was.
* Ned O'Brien: Another free-agent steal, which makes you wonder if it's a coincidence he's from the same home town as Colby Pridham, another guy who came from nowhere. Knows where to go to score, and finishes when he gets there. LINES FORWARDS Matt Snow-Yuri Cheremetiev-Jessyko Bernard Gerrad Grant-Tomas Knotek-Andrew White Eric Louis-Seize-Linden Bahm-Charles Bety Ned O'Brien-Jeff Marchand-Chad Earle
