Linden Bahm is in a fight for an over-age job.
There is no guarantee the Halifax Mooseheads will use three over-agers this season.
With five coming to camp --- forwards Yuri Cheremetiev, Linden Bahm and Eric Louis-Seize and defencemen Alexandre Brunet and Ben MacAskill --- at least two are going to be out of a job and maybe more by the time the QMJHL pre-season concludes.
Cheremetiev, last season's co-leading scorer and a breakout candidate in 2009-10, is a lock and Alexandre Brunet, acquired from the Rimouski Oceanic, is a pretty safe bet. The rest will battle it out for the final spot, if there even is a final spot.
"We're not going to take three over-agers just for the sake of keeping three over-agers," Mooseheads GM Cam Russell said. "There are three spots open and we'll take three if three earn them. If we feel there are only two that earn spots, we'll just keep two. It all depends on how they come to camp and perform."
MacAskill is not positioned well for a job, given that the Mooseheads have 19-year-olds Pascal Amyot and Spencer Metcalfe on the depth chart. Keeping MacAskill would take up a development spot for a youngster.
Louis-Seize won't provide much offence but he is a hard-hitting leader. Bahm showed flashes of potential early last season but couldn't sustain it.

Why doesnt the coach leave the lineup that same if eveyone is healthy and they win a good game? why keep juggling lines? that hasnt helped all season so knock it off!
