The Halifax Mooseheads' losing streak stretched to 11 games on Friday night in Sydney with a 4-1 loss to the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles.
Despite getting the game's opening goal from 20-year-old right-winger Linden Bahm at 13:20 of the first period, the Mooseheads were unable to build off of it. The Screaming Eagles responded with tallies from Luke Adam and Taylor MacDougall before the first period was out to grab the lead.
Nick MacNeil added to the lead 5:55 into the second and MacDougall netted his second of the night 2:14 into the third to salt it away.
The Mooseheads had a 31-29 shooting edge and received 25 saves from rookie goaltender Joel Grondin.
The Mooseheads have a 1-17-1 record, last in the QMJHL. They visit the Saint John Sea Dogs on Wednesday.

This was a really good effort by the team. If they keep playing this way the bounces will start going their way. Keep up the good work. Ratcat
