The Halifax Mooseheads are sending 18-year-old defenceman Alex MacDonald back to junior A indefinitely and have recalled 17-year-old goalie Randy Chisholm.
MacDonald, who has dressed for just five of 19 games this season, will join the Maritime Junior A Hockey League’s Dieppe Commandos. Chisholm will step in for rookie goaltender Joel Grondin, who has the flu.
Chisholm has a 3-5-1 record with a 3.95 goals-against average and a .893 save percentage with the junior A Pictou County Weeks Crushers.
Forward Jessyko Bernard and defenceman Sawyer Hannay also have the flu and will not make the road trip to Saint John, N.B., to play the Sea Dogs on Wednesday night.
The good news is forward Gabriel Desjardins is expected to return from the flu, as is forward Charles Bety, who missed two games with an infected elbow.

Why doesnt the coach leave the lineup that same if eveyone is healthy and they win a good game? why keep juggling lines? that hasnt helped all season so knock it off!
