Garrett Clarke isn't a popular guy in Lewiston, Me., but the Halifax Mooseheads defenceman stuck it to his former team, the Lewiston Maineiacs, on Wednesday night.
The 17-year-old defenceman, traded from the Maineiacs to the Mooseheads in the off-season, had a goal and two assists and was named the second star in the Herd's 6-5 shootout win on Wednesday night.
The win kicked off a three-game road trip for the last-place Mooseheads. They gained a valuable point in the race to catch the Maineiacs for the final playoff spot, who now have an 11-point edge.
