The Minnesota Wild's trade of Eric Belanger has opened the door for Lower Sackville's James Sheppard. Sheppard, a former first-round pick, has fallen out of favour and has just five points in 44 games. From the Minnesota Star-Tribune:
"We've had him in the middle, we've had him on the wing, we've had him in different positions, he's sat out a lot," (Wild head coach Todd) Richards said. "This is an opportunity for him. We've seen flashes of the type of player we think he can become and that's what he has to bring on a consistent basis."

Why doesnt the coach leave the lineup that same if eveyone is healthy and they win a good game? why keep juggling lines? that hasnt helped all season so knock it off!
