Paul Dimitruk, who played 60 games last season, was cut by the Mooseheads on Monday.
The Halifax Mooseheads cleared up their over-age situation on Monday by cutting 20-year-old Paul Dimitruk.
Dimitruk's departure means the Mooseheads will go with Pascal Amyot on defence and Gerrad Grant and Charles Bety at forward. Goaltender Peter Delmas will be traded.
Dimitruk, a six-foot-one, 196-pound American, had a goal and 14 assists in 60 games last season after being acquired in a trade from the Moncton Wildcats.
Also cut on Monday was returning forward Jordan Costello, a 19-year-old who had a goal and two assists in 33 games with the Mooseheads last season.
Affiliate Justin Belanger, 19, and tryout Cody Squires, 17, were also cut.
Following is a glance at the remaining roster. Thirty-two players remain.
