Nova Scotia universities received 3.9 per cent more cash for research last year, new numbers show.
Research Infosource Inc released its list of the top 50 research universities in Canada yesterday.
At 16th place, Dalhousie University was the highest-ranked university in the region with a 4.3 per cent increase in research income. Dal’s research income jumped from $106.9-million in 2006 to $111.5-million in 2007.
Saint Mary’s University was 44th on the list, making an incredible 47.3 per cent jump in research income over the same period.
