Darrell Dexter is attending the 2009 Council of the Federation tomorrow and Friday in Regina.

Tomorrow’s agenda will centre on the economy, while Friday the discussion turns to building strong international relationships. As well, Dexter is scheduled to help lead the discussion on pandemic planning for influenza A (H1N1), also known as swine flu.

In regards to the economy, Progressive Conservative interim leader Karen Casey issued a release yesterday calling on Dexter to present a progress report on the government’s economic stimulus efforts.

“We should, at this point, be given an indication of what percentage of projects are underway, what percentage of funding has been committed to and how many jobs have been created,” Casey said in a release.

Today, all of the premiers will meet with leaders of the national aboriginal chambers of the Saskatchewan Legislative Building.
