Halifax Regional Police have arrested a 53-year-old Dartmouth man in connection with robberies of two North End Halifax businesses.
At 10 a.m. on Nov. 5, a man entered the Propeller Brewery on Gottingen Street and demanded cash from staff before fleeing on foot.
Then, shortly after 11 a.m. on Nov. 7, a man entered Pretty Things Boutique on Cunard Street and demanded cash, again fleeing on foot. No weapon was used in either incident, but police allege the suspect indicated he had one.
Police identified and arrested the man, whose name has not been released pending a court date, at a Nivens Avenue residence yesterday.
