There was a rash of robberies in Fairview over 14 hours Sunday into early yesterday, three of which Halifax Regional Police believe could be linked.
Police say TJ’s Grocery on Main Ave. was robbed at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, then again at 8:45 p.m. that evening. Both robberies are under investigation but police don’t believe they’re related.
However, police do say the person who robbed TJ’s Grocery the first time may be the same person who held up another convenience store later in the day, then a taxi driver during the overnight hours.
Police say a man who displayed a knife held up the Hub General Store on Dutch Village Rd. at 6:25 p.m. Sunday. Then at 12:58 p.m. the same suspect is believed to have robbed a taxi driver by knife-point at Rufus Ave. and Birch St.
