Two men were arrested in relation to thefts from vehicles early yesterday morning in Halifax.
Police say they saw two men on Victory Lane after thefts were made from vehicles on Lemarchant St. and in an underground parkade on Brunswick St. The men allegedly ran away but were arrested on Gottingen St.
Christian Bennett, 23, and 28-year-old Garrett White, both of Halifax, face charges of break and entering, mischief, and possession of break and enter tools.
Bennett is also charged with possession of a prohibited weapon and breaching conditions.
Police have put out warnings after a recent wave of thefts from vehicles, reminding the public to look their car doors.
