METRO HALIFAX

Traffic headaches caused by months of work at a busy south-end Halifax intersection are finally over.

The Halifax Water Commission announced yesterday work on a water and sewer replacement project that involved the intersection of South and South Park streets is complete, with only paving and landscaping left to do.

Replacement of the Freshwater Brook sewer line had been on-going since August of 2008, with this Phase 3 portion in the works since the spring.
