Capital Health has lifted restrictions at a nursing home in Musquodoboit Harbour, but is keeping them in place at a nursing unit at the Halifax Infirmary site of the QEII Health Sciences Centre in Halifax.

The nursing home was closed to visitors for almost two weeks after some patients and staff fell ill with norovirus-like symptoms.

On Monday, Capital Health announced four patients and one staff member at Nursing Unit 4.1 at the infirmary site were exhibiting symptoms of norovirus, also known as Norwalk virus.
