Good news is coming fast and furious for Halifax comic Pardis Parker.

It was announced yesterday he made it into the finals for Canada’s Next Top Comic.

He’s also a four-time nominee at the upcoming Canadian Comedy Awards and his film Two Men, Two Cows, Two Guns, is set to receive Silver at the upcoming JamFest Indie Film Festival in Hammond, La. Pardis is up against comics from Toronto, Vancouver and Ottawa for Canada’s Next Top Comic.

Online voting started yesterday and the winner will be announced Sept. 1.
