Canada’s more known for its rock scene, but it’s an R&B singer who could be the country’s next big export. The Stittsville Ont.-based artist’s 2006 debut went gold and his followup Forever Massari, is sure to be an even bigger hit. The record is full of smooth club anthems — it’s not butt-shaking bass, but rather, calm, silky odes to the ladies. Most of the music works, the melodies are infectious, and lyrics aren’t crude — but he’s likes to repeat his choruses a little too much. Still, there’s no way Massari won’t break out.
