Sharon Osbourne has taken to her Twitter account to apologize for saying Britain’s Got Talent sensation Susan Boyle was hit with “the ugly stick.”

While stopping by a radio show last month, Osbourne was asked about Boyle and commented, “You just want to say God bless and here’s a Gillette razor.”

But now she’s changed her tune, posting, “Susan Boyle is a lovely gracious woman and I took advantage of that by poking fun at her. I would never want to be responsible for hurting Susan and I must apologize for getting a cheap laugh at her expense.”
