After the dismal performance of Land of the Lost, Ferrell’s rate of return dropped to $3.29, putting him ahead of other questionable investments like Ewan McGregor, Billy Bob Thornton and Eddie Murphy. Meanwhile, Shia LaBeouf was named Best Actor for the Buck, earning studios $160 for every dollar spent on him.
