The rumours about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie breaking up are all because of a little misunderstanding, at least according to one source, who tells Gatecrasher that the power couple did in fact visit a Los Angeles attorney early this month, but not to dissolve their partnership.

Instead, Pitt and Jolie were working to sort out their shared $330 million fortune. “They aren’t married, so they need to protect their children and property in case there’s a rift in the future,” the source says.

“People hear legal papers‚ and assume it means a divorce. “They’re just making sure their ducks are in a row.”
