Halifax Rainmen forward Rob Sanders was named Premier Basketball League player of the week yesterday after dominating performances in three straight games.
The 6-8 forward averaged 22.3 points, 12.3 rebounds and shot 57.5 per cent from the field last week. Sanders has been virtually unstoppable in nine games.
Despite coming off the bench, he leads the team in points (19.3 per game) and rebounds (11.0).
