Herd coach tapped as Nova Scotia Canada Games bench boss

Halifax Mooseheads assistant coach Chris Donnelly has been named the head coach of Team Nova Scotia’s men’s hockey team for the 2011 Canada Winter Games in Halifax.

Troy Ryan of the Maritime Junior A Hockey League’s Halifax Lions and Aaron Rice, bench boss of the Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey Legaue’s Cape Breton Tradesmen, are Donnelly’s assistants.

On the ladies side, Dalhousie Tigers women’s hockey coach Lesley Jordan is the head coach. Her assistants will be Chris Larade, an assistant coach with the St. Francis Xavier X-Women and Ron Watkins, an assistant coach with the MJAHL’s Bridgewater Lumberjacks.
