The Halifax Mooseheads are back from Quebec with back-to-back losses and are 13 points out of a playoff spot.

The Herd lost 3-2 to the Shawinigan Cataractes on Saturday and 3-1 to the Quebec Remparts on Friday, slipping further into last in the QMJHL with an 11-37-4 record.

Veteran winger Linden Bahm and rookie forwards Brent Andrews and Andrew Wigginton provided the weekend scoring.

In goal, Peter Delmas made 27 saves against his former team on Friday and Mathieu Corbeil stopped 25 on Saturday.

Defenceman Steve Gillard and right-winger Bradley MacDonald suffered shoulder injuries on the road trip and their availability for this coming weekend is uncertain.

Head coach and general manager Cam Russell wasn’t behind the bench as he is currently on a scouting trip.

The Mooseheads are home for their next three games, with contests Friday against the Saint John Sea Dogs and Saturday against the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles.
