The Halifax Rainmen made another roster move yesterday, signing point guard Eric Gilchrese.
The six-foot graduate of the NCAA Division I New Hampshire Wildcats starred for the Manchester Millrats earlier this season, but was released yesterday just before signing with the Rainmen. He is averaging 18.2 points and 4.1 assists.
He instantly becomes the Rainmen’s best free-throw shooter with a .838 average from the stripe.
