The Rainmen’s big men — something of an Achilles heel this season — will have their hands full on Sunday.

The Rainmen, who host the first-place Puerto Rico Capitanes at 2 p.m., will have to find a way to stop six-foot-11 Courtney Sims and six-foot-eight Angelo Reyes.

Sims, who was last year’s D-League MVP, is averaging 22.8 points and 11.0 rebounds. He wasn’t in the lineup when the Capitanes beat the Rainmen in January.

Reyes is averaging 18.8 points and a whopping 15.1 rebounds.

“Those are easily some of the best bigs in the league,” said Rainmen centre John Strickland. “For me and our bigs, that’s a gigantic challenge.”
