Ken Hitchcock hasn’t gotten any closer to naming Canada’s starting goalie at the world hockey championship.

The Canadian head coach will start Cam Ward on Saturday against Germany at 4:30 p.m. at the Metro Centre and former Halifax Mooseheads stopper Pascal Leclaire on Tuesday against Finland, continuing a tournament-long rotation.

“After (Tuesday), we’ll have a look at it,” he said. “I’m really happy with both guys. Both have played wonderful.”

Canada has the best defensive record at the tournament. Leclarie's numbers (0.50 goals against, .978 save percentage) are far superior to Ward's (2.50 goals against, .910 save percentage) after 120 minutes apiece.
