Robocall scandal a crime

I am disturbed to hear the increasingly bad news surrounding the 'robocall election fraud' with regards to illegal phone calls that took place in dozens of key swing ridings all across Canada.

If it is determined that this was an organized plan to mislead voters and affect the outcome of the election, then it must be viewed as a direct attack on our democracy, not to mention a crime. There needs to be full, immediate and publicly accountable investigations that involve all affected ridings. If a government party is found responsible, a new election must be had. That's how a democracy works, and it has to stay that way.
