Calgary police seek suspect in weekend 7-Eleven robbery

The suspect produced a handgun and demanded money from the store clerk

Calgary police are on the hunt for a man believed to be responsible for the weekend robbery of a southeast Calgary convenience store– and they're asking for the public's help to identify him. 

According to police, at approximately 1 a.m. Sunday, a man entered the 7-Eleven at 3725 30 Avenue SE. He's said to have selected several electronic items and poured himself a cup of coffee before making is way to the till.

As the clerk rang in the items, the man produced a handgun, pointed it at the clerk and demanded money, police said. He was given an undisclosed amount of money and left the store. No one was injured as a result.

The man is described as white, between 25 and 30, 5’6” tall, with a slim build, short brown hair and tattoos covering his right arm. He was wearing a white Nike T-shirt with “BEAST” written on the front, and black jeans.
