Premier Notley will be addressing Albertans later this afternoon.

Premier Rachel Notley will give her State of the Province address Wednesday, and according to a new poll, support for her party is deteriorating.

The poll, from the Lethbridge College’s Citizen Society Research Lab shows a PC resurgence in the province with the highest support at 38.4 per cent.

Wildrose support sits at 25.7 per cent and NDP coming in third at 19.7 per cent.

According to the college, one of the reasons for the PC’s rise is the ongoing leadership race.

The polls also shows that 66 per cent of Albertans support the Unite the Right movement aligning the PC and Wildrose parties, while only 34 per cent oppose the move.

Support for the Liberal and Alberta Party sits at 9.4 per cent and 3.5 per cent respectively.

Data was collected over telephone in the first week of October. The information has a margin or error of +- 2.5 per cent.
