Calgary police issue warrants for man wanted in connection with 7-Eleven robbery

Calgary police are seeking a man identified following a plea for public assistance Tuesday. He is wanted in connection to a weekend convenience store armed robbery. 

The robbery occured around 1 a.m. on Sunday, when a man entered the 7-Eleven at 3725 30 Ave. SE. Once inside, he selected several electronic items and poured a coffee before going to the till. As the clerk rang in the items, the man produced a handgun, pointed it at the clerk and demanded money. He was given an undisclosed amount of money and left the store. No one was injured as a result.

Tyler Wayne James Ratledge, 30, is wanted on a warrant for armed robbery.

He is described as Caucasian, 5’6” tall, with a slim build, short brown hair and tattoos covering his right arm and on the right side of his neck.

Ratledge has ties to Olds and Bowden.
