WATERLOO, Ont. — Waterloo regional police say they believe the alleged sexual assaults of two young girls that took place four years apart are linked.

They say a six-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted in the stairwell of an apartment building on Oct. 27, 2017, in Kitchener, Ont.

Police say after an investigation that they believe the man suspected in that alleged incident is also responsible for an alleged sexual assault against a four-year-old in an apartment building in Waterloo on Oct. 20, 2013.
