Man shot in northwest Edmonton home invasion

Police investigate after 28-year-old suffers non-life threatening injuries.

Edmonton police are investigating a northwest Edmonton shooting that sent one man to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police arrived at a house shortly after 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Prince Charles neighbourhood, in the area of 120 Avenue and 125 Street., where they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.

Emergency Medical Services treated and transported the 28-year-old man to hospital.

Police said reports indicate three males dressed in black clothing entered the home, used bear spray and shot one person.

It was a targeted incident and no other occupants in the home were injured, police said.
