Slideshow: Sculptors create wonders of sand at HRM beach

The threat of rain and thundershowers from Environment Canada didn't stop hundreds of competitors and thousands of spectators from taking in the 34th Annual Clam Harbour Beach Sandcastle Competition.

Adults, youth and children all compete for either best Sandcastle or Sand Sculpture. Here are some highlights from Metro Halifax photographer Jeff Harper.
