A fourth man has been arrested in relation to the case of the "Pillowcase Bandits."
On Thursday evening, police say a fourth man was arrested in relation to a string of break and enters in Lunenburg County.
Matthew Wayne Atkinson, 28, of Dartmouth faces three counts of break and enter and possession of property obtained by crime.
He is in custody and will appear in Halifax Provincial Court Friday.
Earlier this week, Cory Jollimore , Jason Marriott, and Ryan Jeffries Marriott were arrested following a four-month investigation. The trio were charged with 170 counts of break and enter, which occurred between February and April.
RCMP have said the break and enters were "sophisticated," and the robbers used online tools to target homes without alarm systems. They would steal pillowcases from each residence to carry away stolen items.
She alludes to being sexually assaulted, but writes, "however you want to look at it, this was all my doing and I take full responsibility."
