Halifax-area man, 19, faces child luring charges after home search

A Halifax-area man is facing child luring charges after police searched a home this week.

On Thursday, the Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit, with help from the integrated Special Enforcement Section, executed a search warrant at a home in Lower Sackville.

According to a Halifax RCMP release, 19-year-old Robert Paul was arrested at the residence without incident.

Paul was charged with luring a child and providing sexually explicit material to a child.

He was released from custody on conditions, and will appear in Dartmouth provincial court on Nov. 22 at 9:30 a.m.

Police said the investigation is continuing.
