Urban adventure race coming to Ottawa this weekend

If you see excited-looking people randomly running around the city this weekend looking for stuff, here's why: it's the Goodlife Fitness City Chase.

In the part-obstacle race, part-scavenger hunt, teams have to decipher clues to locate various challenges throughout the city. The goal is to complete 10 such challenges and then head for the finish line.

It raises funds for the Goodlife Kids Foundation, which supports charities providing kids with physical activity opportunities. Funds raised this year are going toward local programs for children with autism.

The top three teams go on to the national championships to face teams from other Canadian cities.

The race is this Saturday starting at 10 a.m. at Ottawa City Hall.
