Police across Canada are on the lookout for a man who is wanted in connection to an aggravated sexual assault in Toronto.
Toronto police report that on March 12, the suspect allegedly had unprotected sex with a victim despite knowing — and not disclosing — that he had multiple sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV and Hepatitis C. Under Canadian law, that can qualify as sex assault.
The man, Rydel Golden Mclenon, 27, is originally from Edmonton, and police believe he may have left Ontario to return to Alberta.
He is described as white, 5-foot-10, 180 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes.
Detective Darren Worth said that the male victim did contract some of the diseases, with HIV results pending.
Toronto police are asking anyone with information to call 416-808-1404.
