Two Toronto men charged with credit card fraud

MONCTON, N.B. - RCMP say two Toronto men are facing charges after they allegedly used counterfeit credit cards at stores in New Brunswick.

The Mounties say a vehicle was stopped earlier this week after the two men attempted to buy gift cards at various stores in the Moncton area.

Police say officers seized counterfeit credit cards, prepaid gift cards and electronic equipment.

Li Yi, 31, and Puyuan Guan, 21, were arrested and charged with fraud.

They're expected to appear in Moncton provincial court on Monday.

Police say it's believed the suspects may have also used the counterfeit credit cards at stores in Nova Scotia.
