Danzig St. shooter, Nahom Tsegazab, sentenced to 14 years

Nahom Tsegazab has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for manslaughter in the Danzig St. mass shooting in July 2012 that left two innocent people dead.
After credit for pre-trial custody he has 11 years and five months remaining to serve.
On Friday morning, Tsegazab, 21, pleaded guilty to two counts of manslaughter to the shooting which broke out at a community barbecue he organized on Danzig St. in July 2012.
Two innocent people were killed that night: Shyanne Charles and 23-year-old Joshua Yasay.
Before a courtroom filled with their grieving families, Tsegazab also pleaded guilty to six counts of aggravated assault for wounding six people.
