BeaverTails will soon be getting a permanent home on Toronto's waterfront.

A Canadian tradition is coming to Toronto — in a big, tasty, deep-fried way.

BeaverTails will open its first walk-in store in the city on March 19. Located at 145 Queens Quay W. (directly south of the Rogers Centre), the eatery will be the company’s largest in Ontario.

While it is the first BeaverTails storefront to hit the city, it’s definitely not the brand’s first venture into the market.

A food truck spent last summer serving up sweet treats at the same location slated for the permanent storefront. And, of course, BeaverTails trucks are a staple at most festivals.

There’s a sweet party planned from noon to 3 p.m. on the store’s opening day. And, yes, there will be free samples on offer.
