Two people in serious condition after double shooting in city’s west end

Toronto Parmedics confirmed that two people, both male, have been transported to a trauma centre in serious condition after shooting Monday at Sheppard Ave. and Arleta Dr.

Two people were rushed to hospital after an early evening shooting on Sheppard Avenue at Buckland Road, east of Jane Street.

Two people, both male, were suffering from serious injuries on Monday evening after being shot near Jane St. and Sheppard Ave. W., Toronto Paramedics confirm.

At 6:48 p.m., emergency crews responded to an address on Arleta Dr. just off of Sheppard Ave. W. and found two people suffering from gunshots. They were both transported to a trauma centre in serious condition.

According to Toronto Police, the weapon that was used may have been a shotgun. A car — “possibly red,” police say — was also seen fleeing the scene.

There is no word on the age of the two male victims.
