Rainfall warning issued for Lower Mainland

Environment Canada issued a rainfall warning for Metro Vancouver for Monday night and Tuesday due to a low pressure system coming through the region.
Up to 55 mm of heavy rain is expected in Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley and Howe Sound by Tuesday night.
The rain will ease on Wednesday, but expect soggy weather on Thursday before it lets up on Friday.
With snowfall anticipated in the mountains, the Canadian Avalanche Centre boosted avalanche danger ratings to high for the alpine regions of the South Coast – Inland and the Sea-to-Sky on Tuesday and Wednesday.
