When and where to see the royal couple in Vancouver

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will tour Vancouver on Sunday

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, will arrive in Victoria on Saturday before travelling to Vancouver on Sunday.

The royal tour in B.C. and the Yukon from Sept. 24 to Oct. 1 marks their second Canadian visit since they were married in 2011. This time, the couple will be bringing along their children, three-year-old Prince George and one-year-old Princess Charlotte.

10:45 a.m. Jack Poole Plaza

The royal couple fly in from Victoria and head toward Jack Poole Plaza and the Olympic Cauldron.

11:15 a.m. Sheway pregnancy outreach - 533 E Hastings St.

The duke and duchess arrive in the Downtown Eastside for a tour of Sheway, an outreach program for vulnerable pregnant women in the community. They will meet Karen Starr, a mother of four who used the program’s services. A First Nations welcome, story time, and vest-making activity are also on the agenda.

12:15 p.m. Immigrant Services Society of B.C. - 2610 Victoria Dr.

The royal couple visit Immigrant Services Society of B.C. at their New Welcome Centre, where they will tour the building, unveil a plaque marking the opening of a new playground, and meet families new to Canada.

2:05 p.m. Telus Garden – 510 W Georgia St.

The duke and duchess attend the Young Vancouver Reception at the new Telus Garden building in downtown Vancouver.

3:15 p.m. Kitsilano Coast Guard Station - Vanier Park

The royal couple talk with representatives of the Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue, North Shore Rescue, and other first responders about rescues and mental-health issues. The Kitsilano Coast Guard was recently renovated and re-opened in August. Prince William served for three years in the UK search and rescue service as a helicopter pilot. The couple will head out to the Canadian Coast Guard Station on Sea Island via hovercraft at 4 p.m.
