Fraudster attempted Canadian Tire shopping spree with stolen credit card: police

Police are on the hunt for a suspected fraudster who allegedly made purchases with stolen credit cards in the Windsor area.

On April 11, a man attempted to buy Canadian Tire gift cards at the Canadian Tire on Tecumseh Rd. E. near Lauzon Rd. The attempt failed, but a short while later, the same man was able to fraudulently purchase pre-paid Mastercards from the Sears at Devonshire Mall.

Investigators have so far been unable to identify the suspect and are now appealing to the public for help. Police have released a surveillance photo of the suspect, capture from a security camera at the Devonshire Mall.
