Police in Southern Ontario are warning the public about a convicted sex offender from Wisconsin, who reportedly crossed the border into the province after cutting off his GPS bracelet.
Britton Mckenzie, 66, was allegedly spotted at a car dealership in Chatham. Police say he is about 5'10" and 165 pounds, with grey hair, glasses and a grey beard. He was wearing a Green Bay Packers jersey and driving a red Jeep Liberty with the license plate "Pack 26."
He is wanted by Canadian Border Services in connection with a federal warrant issued in the United States.
According to Ontario Provincial Police spokesperson Sgt. David Rektor, Mckenzie was also seen near Goderich and may be heading to Bruce County.
Rektor said Mckenzie, who also goes by the name Duane Thorbahn, has been known to expose himself to young girls.
"That's obviously very concerning to us," he said. "We would like to see him returned to Canadian Border Services so they can get him back where he belongs."
Anyone seeing Mckenzie is asked to contact their local police department immediately.
