Men wanted for alleged Dauphin arson arrested in Vancouver

Two men suspected of setting fire to a Dauphin home – a fire that left a young man in critical condition – were arrested by the Vancouver Police Department on Wednesday morning.

Sean Barry Douglas Nepinak, 24, and Seamus John Nepinak, 22, of Dauphin are charged with arson with disregard for human life.

On Aug. 31 at around 12:45 p.m., Dauphin RCMP and local emergency services were called to a fire at the house.

A 17-year-old St. Rose du Lac man was rushed to hospital and is currently in critical condition. Three other people in the home at the time of the fire were treated for minor injuries.
