Update: Last ‘scary clown’ robbery suspect turns himself in

The last suspect wanted in connection to a terrifying strong-arm robbery near Polo Park earlier this month that saw a group of teens assaulted and held at knife-point for well over an hour has turned himself into police.

The victims, two 18-year-old women and an 18-year-old man, had been shopping at Polo Park Shopping Centre July 12 before making their way to the creek area under the railway bridge just east of Empress Street and Westway to take pictures.

While there a group of several suspects surrounded the victims and robbed them at knifepoint.

One of the suspects wore a “scary clown mask” during the hour-and-a-half long ordeal.

Five males ranging in age between 17 and 21 had previously been arrested for their alleged involvement, and on Monday police released a photo of their last suspect and asked for help tracking him down.

Joseph Jordan Henderson, 18, turned himself into a police station around 8:30 p.m. Monday and now faces four counts of robbery and three counts of forcible confinement.
