Alloway Arch unveiled at the Forks

The Winnipeg Foundation unveiled the Alloway Arch and Widow's Mite Fountain on Tuesday.

Captain Megan Latta and Lieutenant Commander Nick Slonosky were two of the many people at The Forks on Tuesday to see the unveiling of the new Alloway Arch.

The arch was created using the façade of the Alloway and Champion Bank Building, which once stood at 362 Main St. 

The new arch now sits just east of the VIA Rail Station.

The Winnipeg Foundation unveiled both the arch and the new Widow’s Mite Fountain on Tuesday at The Forks.
